ASOS Jamie Robert Collection socks are taking part in The Beaujolais Run® 2018!
The Beaujolais Run® is a world famous, distinctive motoring event. During the 'Run® entrants gain access to restricted and usually inaccessible venues; these may include private chateaux, vineyards and historical sites. Where appropriate the 'Run commemorates historic events in an enjoyable and respectful way; seeking to ensure these are not forgotten, by allowing teams to 'walk in the footsteps of others'. With great motoring, gastronomy and unprecedented access to our winemaking partners in Champagne, Burgundy and Beaujolais there is sure to be something to appeal to all palates.
The 'Run's® Director, Rob Bellinger, is a close friend of Jamie and his dad, Tim Arnold. He was a great support to Jamie in his business and to Tim during the difficult times leading up to Jamie's passing and since. As a result of Rob sharing and promoting all things to do with Jamie and the fundraising in his memory. One of the teams taking part in this year's 'Run® are wearing the Jamie Robert Collection socks for the duration of the event.
As this article is being written, the 2018 'Run® is already underway and deep in France on its 4th day - check out the blog for regular updates of The 'Run's® progress: www.beaujolaisrun.com/blog. This year The 'Run® is supporting The Royal Airforce Benevolent Fund and commemorating "Operation Chastise" - the Dambusters. The event started from RAF Scampton on Saturday 10th November.
