Today (1st December 2019) Pendle Powerfest and Tim Arnold presented a cheque for £2,000 to St. Rocco's Hospice!
Back in May, on the 26th May to be precise, the Pendle Powerfest "The North West's Family Motor Show" took place. The organisers of the event had decided earlier this year to support our fundraising for St Roccos Hospice in memory of Jamie.
On the day the weather let us down with high winds and torrential rain, but the event still managed to raise £2,000 for the hospice. So, this morning Tim Arnold, Lee Tombling and the rest of the Pendle Powerfest crew visited St Rocco's Hospice to present them with a cheque for the £2,000 raised.
Pendle Powerfest is a motoring event held in Lancashire at Nelson & Colne College. One of the Powerfest's committee is Lee Tombling, a friend of Jamie's dad, Tim Arnold, for 13 years.
